Where Do All the Earmarks Go?

Bill Moyers Journal has produced an excellent piece on Congressional earmarks. Investigative journalists from the Seattle Times uncover the elaborate and coded system of what is essentially legalized bribery in the close links between Members of Congress who write funding into legislation for individual companies and the closely mirrored campaign contributions from those beneficiaries. They tracked down the fruits of this system, the useless and unsafe products that are shipped to the military and thrown away.
