Why are we arguing about Reverend Wright while cops are still lynching?
I can’t help but marvel at the mainstream media. While Fox News devotes hours to Obama’s supposed racial hypocrisy and the false meme spreads that his pastor Rev. Wright gave sermons that were “anti-white” or “anti-semitic,” the shocking revelations that expose true racism in America merit barely a mention before they disappear in one news cycle.
Videos have been obtained by the Charleston Post and Courier from dashboard cameras of the South Carolina Highway Patrol that show officers repeatedly using their police cars to intentionally run over black crime suspects, while using racial epithets and congratulating themselves for the hits.
While the national discussion goes on about whether Obama has gone far enough to disassociate himself from a preacher whose fiery words “God damn America” (for its racism) have touched a very white nerve, the fact remains that today in this country, people who are not white face a different and often more dangerous experience of life than people who are white. When a person who has been entrusted with the public safety and given special privileges in order to enforce the law, says “you’d better run, n****r, because I’m fixin’ to kill you” as Lance Cpl. S.C. Garren of South Carolina said on tape, it makes it absurd to hear that a black pastor’s rage against the system that allows that is in any way wrong or extreme.
We control our conversation; let’s have the one we need to have.

Why are we talking about bad cops (and yes they are bad) when the black community, with Obama’s support, is aborting itself out of existence?

Racism is a real evil. But, we need to focus on the worst form of that racism: the willful murder of 25% of the black community by abortion.

White America promoted B.Obama, not Blacks. You put him up and now you are making every effort to break him down.
We are watching and are aware.
What Rev W. Said about the Aides virus is something that most thinking blacks, have often considered. Two homosexual white men were said responsible for spreading Aides virus…how did it get to Africa? More than half the continent is being wiped out by aides…no little white homosexuals were over there…we have wondered if it was not some of that good old “white man medicine” pumped into the veins of the unsuspecting African people. We have all thought about…..the Rev. had the audacity to say it.
We are also aware of the guns that were poured into our neighborhoods…crack cocaine…and the video moguls (record industry) who exploited our youth, while the DEA turned their heads with the FBI, and refused to (C), see.
Truth is our black boys did what white boys or girls would do under the same set of circumstances-Columbine, and the rest. While we buried our children we had to watch them being depicted as animals and called savages etc. What did we get furneral after funeral, more jails.
No one asked America in any official way to go over to Iraq and kill Sadaam’s sons and splash their bloodied bodies all over the screens world wide, as Rev. Write said, “Don’t you think the other world powers were watching this…and saying, ‘look at the capability the capacity of America to kill.” And the innocent that died women and children…NO WEAPONS of Mass Destruction….NONE!
Moreover do you think a God of justice would “Bless” America in this? No, God would not bless these deeds.
B. Obama was so truthful in admitting his grandmothers attitude, it is sooo typical of what a white woman would feel if she saw a black man get on an elevator even in a suit and tie. She would cringe and clutch her bag…its just the truth. It is what we deal with daily.
Hillary could never understand what it is like to be a black baby raised in this country…the man told the truth, she could never understand…..NEVER!
You are further perpetuating, the hate we all know is there…you would love to see a race war, and it sounds as though you would love to continue press the race button until something very bad happens, like the death of one so wonderful as Martin Luther King.
B.Obama has denounced and rejected…but that will never be enough…for you. In the end, after all his renouncing and rejecting, anyone, and everyone who can think in this country…You will not elect him…because he has no “Electability”…but what you don’t know is that God’s Hand is on B.Obama….and we will see what God has to say about it all in the end.

I’m white, but I lived in Bangor, Maine for 2 years. In all of my life,I have never heard such openly hostile, hateful, racist comments in the workplace and otherwise. I thought that stuff was illegal, and I thought it went out years ago.
But it didn’t. In Bangor this past December, they had to cancel their Kwanzaa celebrations because of vicious racist death threats.
Nothing was done about this…it was swept under the rug, like so much else up there.
I’ve never been down south. It’s horrible to think that anything could be worse than Bangor.
A statement such as “God damn America” is really NOT so subversive coming from an African American.
It’s not subversive, it’s only HUMAN. And Obama’s speech was something I hope I carry with me forever.
What a mensch.

Oh please. Obama is no messiah. He is a dirty Chicago politician in bed with people like Rezko and Wright. I liked him at first. But now I’m done. He has fed for 20 years on rabid racism. I’m done, an so is Obama.

Barack’s speech simulates a courageous address on race. But, as with more transparent race hustlers like Al Sharpton, he finds the engine of black faults in white racism, both in the past and (implausibly) in the present. A more courageous address would have asked for something real and substantive from blacks. But the black nationalism he and his pastor endorse does not consider blacks to have any faults, misdeeds, or need for collective action in contrast to the strenuous demands put upon whites. Real racial peace requires both sides to engage one another honestly and with sincerity. His hair trigger accusations of racism–against his grandma and Ferraro–coupled with his view of exquisite black victims and persistent white victimizers does nothing to advance such a conversation.

Wow…Jesus is responding to this blog. Hey Jesus…what does abortion have to do with racism ? Don’t other people besides blacks have abortions? And what does Mary have to say about all this ? She didn’t have to have you aborted because she was underage (alright in those times), and her parents didn’t cut her off and kick her out on the streets because she was pregnant. Or maybe she wasn’t pregnant? But you wouldn’t know what that’s like because you are a man .. er holy man. What if you were a single fourteen year old girl who got Aids and got pregnant because some guy raped you? You’d just want that little fetus to grow inside you.. wouldn’t you?
